P&R lax teams close regular season with wins
Defense never rests for solid, young program

GOFFSTOWN - The Goffstown Parks and Recreation U13 boys team defeated Timberlane, 6-4, to complete the regular season with a record of 6-1.

Quinn Nolan scored three of the six goals. Mike Jutras, Caleb Cyeka and Drew Simoneau each scored a goal a piece.

In the second season of play the U13 team outscored opponents, 68-34. Consistent goaltending from Cam Finn, as well as team-wide contributions throughout the seven-game schedule, led Goffstown to its impressive record.

Matthew Bartlett, Collin Bourque, Tim Brown, Daniel Considine, Jesse Cassin, Niegel Dietsch, Evan Draper, Steven Edwards, Jake Glauser, Gary Gobin, Connor House-Myers, Matt Jennings, Isreal Junkins, Chris Plourde, Mike Powden, Andy Reilly and Pat Signer complete the squad.

The U15 team completed its regular season with a 9-1 win at Dover on Sunday, June 5, giving the older group a 7-0-1 record.

Only a 5-5 tie in the season.s first week prevented a perfect mark.

The U15 boys dominated all season, outscoring foes by a whopping 85-18 margin. Defense and goaltending, as well as outstanding play from midfield and attack, simply overwhelmed opposing teams.

The roster includes Nick Ayer, Mike Battey, Bryan Bourque, Tyler Ellis, Allen Finn, Jake Gingras, Liam House-Myers, Joe Hurley, Pat Hurley, Nathaniel Jabjinial, Connor Nolan, Corey O.Brien, A.J. Plourde, John Reilly, Brendon Shearin, Jacob Staffiere, Kyle Thomas and Jim Waller.

Both teams are preparing for postseason tournaments.
