Yellow Jackets 8 – Green Hornets 1
On Oct. 9, the Yellow Jackets were led offensively by Jason Schmeltz and Austin Fox, who both scored three goals. Kyle Dugan tallied twice, and Kabrina Montambeault added an assist to the attack. Anchoring the Yellow Jacket defense were Dylan Dow and Tyler Foley. Goalkeepers Daniel Lee, Fox, Dow and Dugan combined to hold the high scoring Hornets to one goal, with Dugan making a number of great saves on pointblank shots.
Brandon Laass scored the lone Hornets’goal with a strong shot from the top of the box. Ashley McGrevey did an exceptional job in goal. Hannah Willis, Crystal Lemay and Reece Kincaid also played very well.
Yellow Jackets 2 – Purple Panthers 1
On Oct. 14, Austin Fox scored both goals to lead the Yellow Jackets. Kyle Dugan, Tyler Foley and Daniel Lee were strong defensively, while Lee, Fox, Dylan Dow and Dugan shared the goalkeeping chores.
Jacob McNamara, who played a solid two-way game, scored the Purple Panthers’ lone goal. Katie Vincent and Alissa Pearl turned in solid defensive efforts in front of strong keepers David Pinsonneault and Tim Russell.
Red Rockers 9 – Green Hornets 4
On Oct. 16, Trevor Reno tallied four goals to lead the Red Rockers. Jacob Murphy scored twice, and Riley Curren, Dylan McGahey and Scot Durham each scored once. Keepers Joseph Durham and Ryan Darby made several outstanding saves.
Brandon Laass led the Hornets with three goals, and Reece Kincaid added the other. Darrin Boulay, J.T. Flowers and Danielle Charland were tough on defense in defeat.
Purple Panthers 4 – Yellow Jackets 3
David Pinsonneault scored a pair of goals, including a well placed free kick, to lead the Purple Panthers. Jacob McNamara and Tim Russell also scored for the Panthers.
The Yellow Jackets were led on offense by Austin Fox’s hat trick. Jason Schmeltz and Kyle Dugan were also aggressive on the attack. Dereck DeBlois, Daniel Lee and Riley Fugere played solid defense in front of goalies Lee, Fox, Dugan, Schmeltz, Dylan Dow and Connor Luby.
