Third- and fourth-grade boys take three straight wins
Hooksett 23 – Londonderry 19
Jacob Parker led the third- and fourth-grade boys travel team with six points, while Tyler Gahara and Riley Cote each added five, as Hooksett avenged a preseason loss. Londonderry tied the game with less than five minutes left before a final burst from Hooksett, including buckets from Gahara and Cote. Tony Vasquez led rebounders with five and added four points.
Ryan Moloney had six points and Cam Lombardi added five points for visiting Londonderry.
Hooksett 29 – St. Thomas Aquinas of Derry 9
Parker put six points on the board for Hooksett, while Tanner Walls, Cote, Rick Prindiville and Vasquez all added four points for the locals’ balanced attack. Drew Groves led all rebounders with 13 boards.
Hooksett 26 – Litchfield 24
Hooksett picked up another win, led by 6-for-9 shooting by Cote, who finished with 13 points. Vasquez added five for the visitors. Groves, Joshua Wilson and Prindiville pulled down most of the rebounds. Matt Goldstein scored 12 points for home team Litchfield, 3-10 after the loss.
With the win, Hooksett’s record improved to 10-3 on the regular season, 12-4 overall.

The team’s final regular season game is Saturday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m., against Windham. During the week of Feb. 7, the boys will start a round robin playoff tournament against ADivision teams Derry, Londonderry and Pelham.
Seventh- and eighth-grade girls earn lopsided win
On Saturday, Jan. 22, the Hooksett seventh- and eighth-grade girls notched their ninth win of the season, easily handling Goffstown, 43-22, at Cawley Middle School, Mel Bourgeois poured in 15 points to lead the locals girls. Sam Walker, Lindsay Johnson, Megan Cournoyer and Krista Lucas chipped in with six points each.
